At Vista Encantada, home can mean unwinding in a luxurious surrounding or soaking up every moment, every taste or every detail. It can mean marveling at every color or sensation while enjoying every carefully curated corner, and it can mean experiencing new cultures and traditions in an elegant, yet welcoming ambiance.
Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean with unobstructed views of Land’s End, Vista Encantada’s luxurious suites provide an exclusive and tranquil retreat for travelers seeking to recharge and indulge in a place that helps disconnect to connect. After all, there's no place like home.
This boutique resort has just 36 suites, all of which have their own plunge pools.  That’s along with amenities like 24-hour butler service, a “plant-based” spa called Milagro Wellness Spa; a signature eatery called Mestizo del Mar, and what the property is billing as “one of the largest rooftop infinity pools” in all of Mexico.
The Vista is the latest project by Mexico Grand Hotels. It is one of four Mexico Grand resorts on the same campus. For those who participated in our Puerto Vallarta trip at the Vidanta suite of resorts, it's a similar situation here. The following resorts are on the campus:
  1. Hacienda Encantada Resort: Deluxe studio, one, and two bedroom units (similar to Vidanta's Grand Bliss)
  2. Encanto Resort: Exquisite studio, one, and two bedroom units (mandatory all-inclusive)
  3. The Residences at Hacienda Encantada: Luxurious two, three, and four bedroom houses
  4. Vista Encantada Resort: Luxurious one, two, three, and four bedroom suites with personal gas grills, soaking pools (similar to Vidanta's Grand Luxxe). Also rooftop restaurant and pool.
Note that if you are staying at the Vista resort you can use all the facilities at the other three resorts on the campus but the other three resorts can't use any of the Vista amenities.

Winter and spring are the most popular travel seasons in Los Cabos. The winter season, from December through February, offers lots of sunny days and mild temperatures. Humpbacks are calving, while Gray Whales and Whale Sharks are also migrating through the area. This is a popular time for family travel and for snowbirds. March and April usher in the party crowd as U.S. and Canadian students arrive en masse for Spring Break. Expect to contend with large crowds and to pay top dollar for flights, hotels, and tours during these months.
The season usually comes with average temperatures in the mid-70s and toward the end of the season, the mid-80s. Room rates range from $300 to $600 a night at some of the popular resorts. If you're interested in whale watching, this is also the best time for a trip.
Key events happening during this week include:
  1. Festival of San Jose: This festival is in honor of the city's patron saint, San José (St. Joseph). This 11-day festival culminates on March 19 every year. Beginning with evening parties and music on the 8th of March, the festival increases with carnivals and parades on weekends. Food venues are placed throughout all downtown, and booths carrying items like fresh warm tamales and sugared pumpkin candies are also available.
  2. San Jose del Cabo Art Walk: A popular weekly event held every Thursday evening from 5-9pm between the months of November and June. Enjoy an evening stroll through the Gallery District, visiting the Art Galleries, sipping wine and dining in our neighborhood restaurants. Often galleries will have special events such as “artist in attendance” or openings of new exhibitions.
