Los Cabos 2

Los Cabos, Mexico

November 2021
If you didn't get enough of Los Cabos/Vista Encantada resort or couldn't attend our March 2021 trip, this is another chance for you to get your "Los Cabos On"!

Located at the south end of the Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos is a unique mixture of desert landscapes, beaches, and mountainous zones that are a sight to behold. National Geographic magazine has named Los Cabos one of the must-see places to visit in 2017.

Baja California Sur is a state surrounded by the magnificence of the Sea of Cortes and the Pacific Ocean, it is a real paradise between two seas.
Los Cabos has something for everyone, regardless of the type of trip you want, be it a chill weekend or an adventurous experience, a budget vacation or an over the top splurge, rest assured you will find what you’re looking for in this great beach and desert destination, located in northwest Mexico. The laid-back lifestyle of Los Cabos will quickly grow on you, including the events held in the region that are always a stress-free experience from beginning to end.
At Vista Encantada, home can mean unwinding in a luxurious surrounding or soaking up every moment, every taste or every detail. It can mean marveling at every color or sensation while enjoying every carefully curated corner, and it can mean experiencing new cultures and traditions in an elegant, yet welcoming ambiance.
Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean with unobstructed views of Land’s End, Vista Encantada’s luxurious suites provide an exclusive and tranquil retreat for travelers seeking to recharge and indulge in a place that helps disconnect to connect. Awaken your senses through impeccable hospitality, remarkable epicurean experiences and our world-class spa, and create unforgettable and cherished memories in comfort and luxury. After all, there's no place like home.
This boutique resort has just 36 suites, all of which have their own plunge pools.  That’s along with amenities like 24-hour butler service, a “plant-based” spa called Milagro Wellness Spa; a signature eatery called Mestizo del Mar, and what the property is billing as “one of the largest rooftop infinity pools” in all of Mexico.
The Vista is the latest project by Mexico Grand Hotels. It is one of four Mexico Grand resorts on the same campus. For those who participated in our Puerto Vallarta trip at the Vidanta suite of resorts, it's a similar situation here. The following resorts are on the campus:
  1. Hacienda Encantada Resort: Deluxe studio, one, and two bedroom units (similar to Vidanta's Grand Bliss)
  2. Encanto Resort: Exquisite studio, one, and two bedroom units (mandatory all-inclusive)
  3. The Residences at Hacienda Encantada: Luxurious two, three, and four bedroom houses
  4. Vista Encantada Resort: Luxurious one, two, three, and four bedroom suites with personal gas grills, soaking pools (similar to Vidanta's Grand Luxxe). Also rooftop restaurant and pool.
Note that if you are staying at the Vista resort you can use all the facilities at the other three resorts on the campus but the other three resorts can't use any of the Vista amenities.
This time I will have a 4 bedroom penthouse unit.

Ocean temperatures are still warm very warm and visibility remains high for great snorkeling. The first few Humpback whales show up now. Hotel rates begin to climb as the area prepares for its peak season.
There are also quite a few fishing tournaments in the fall; this is the season to find tuna, wahoo, blue marlin and sailfish swimming in Cabo's waters.
